The annual members meeting is approaching and the Parish Council will be fielding questions about the upcoming budget on November 21st following the service. The Essentials membership class will be offered as a Friday night Saturday morning intensive on Friday, November 12th, 7:00 -9:30 pm and Saturday the 13th from 9:30am -1:30pm at National Baptist Memorial Church. For more information or to sign up please email Lauren at lhofer (at) adventdc.org.

September 13th is the day when we will induct all new members and formally welcome members of the Church of the Resurrection who are transferring their memberships to Advent. This will be a day of celebration and feasting. If you are interested in becoming a member, start by attending a Newcomers’ Dinner. There will be more information to follow for current Rez members.
