Palm Sunday | March 28th 5pm: Hymns and readings presenting the passion of Christ according to Mark’s Gospel.
Maundy Thursday | April 1st at 7pm: A joint service with our sister churches and area fellowships. In addition to music, message, and holy communion, we will also wash each other’s feet. At Christ Our Shepherd Church. Childcare provided.
Good Friday | April 2nd at 7pm: A joint service with Church of the Resurrection at Casa del Pueblo.
Easter Vigil | The Church of the Resurrection will join us for an Easter Vigil on on Holy Saturday, Arpil 3rd, from 8pm to 11pm. This time together is one of the most celebrated times in the liturgical calendar. We will be celebrating through various art forms and the Eucharist.
Easter Sunday | In addition to celebrating the resurrection of Christ, Easter Sunday is also the day where we will induct all new members into the Church of the Advent membership. This is a day of celebration and feasting. If you are interested in becoming a member please email Lauren Little at llittle@adventdc.org

We have decided not to gather at Casa del Pueblo for worship this evening 2/7 due to the hazardous conditions. Instead, I would encourage you all to gather with your small groups if you are within easy walking distance for a time of prayer and worship. Also, you could connect with nearby friends, or simply the people you live with. Whatever you do, I encourage you to set apart some time to come together in praise.
Also, as of right now Church of the Resurrection (Christ our Shepherd Church, 810 North Carolina Ave. SE) will be having a worship gathering at 5pm, and you are welcome to attend that as well -

The Feast of the Ascension is coming up on Thursday, May 21. We will be joining with our sister churches, Resurrection and Advent, to join us in celebrating Christ’s Ascension with dinner and a service at 7pm at Christ Church of Arlington, 3321 N Pershing Drive, Arlington VA. Dinner will be potluck with a main dish provided. Please bring a side, dessert or drink to share, or $5 to cover the cost of the main dish.
