Easter Vigil (9pm, April 11)

Join one body comprised of many DC churches as we read, pray and sing in anticipation, and then burst into jubilant celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. This climactic service of Holy Week will include magnificent artwork and banners, musicians and dance ensembles, readings and silent meditation, testimonies  and a homily  We will conclude with the highly anticipated celebration of holy communion and festive congregational singing, ending at midnight and the beginning of Resurrection Day.

Easter Vigil Choir

Calling all voices & fingers! In preparation for the Easter Vigil service, a multi-church choir will be rehearsing from 7:30pm - 8:00ish on Mondays. The first rehearsal will be Monday, March 16th at 7:30pm. Please email Amy Reno at amyreno (at) gmail dot com.

Easter Vigil

The Church of the Ascension and the Church of the Resurrection will be join us for an Easter Vigil on on Holy Saturday, April 11th, from 9pm to 12am. This time together is one of the most celebrated times in the liturgical calendar. We will be celebrating through various art forms and the Eucharist.
